Lewis Carroll: Introduction

To get a basic understanding of what this section is all about, read on.
This week I will be studying Lewis Carroll's dual entries - Alice's adventures in Wonderland, and Through the Looking Glass. Will keep putting up posts about different aspects that speak out to me in due course.

You can find the free ebook of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland here.
You can find the free ebook of Through the Looking Glass here.

Note to self: Submission is on Tuesday.

Apparently in 1863, when Lewis Carroll was in the process of writing Alice, he recruited John Tenniel to be his illustrator, and so has had an exclusive say in what needed illustration. Which should be an interesting study in itself to understand what was of significance to the author himself.
