Creative poetry: Look at You, Smiling

This one is all about being near your crush, and crushing secretly. There is something sweet and at the same time sad about this, especially reading it years later... Read on.

I look at you, smiling...
An honour to watch you blush;
Know not why you would,
Nor why it gives me this rush...

My heart beats,
Faster than ever before...
Bolt could bolt for all I care,
My heartbeat shall be on the fore...

slurp...

You move those slender sticks
With hands precise and delicate...
A lone noodle goes swirling up
With appropriate grace and etiquette...

slrrrrrp.....

My love causes my pain,
My smile hides my anguish...
Envy battles the noodle lone
to be whom is all I languish...

I look at you, smiling
Your blush provokes me...
Why do you play so with them
Let noodle and my heart be...

You look at me and smile
I just drown in that warm pleasure
"your soup's getting cold"
And you undo my treasure!
