Creative Poetry: Thumka

Honestly, this one is a mystery. I know where the inspiration came from, because I was reminded, but not the context. Still, a good twist is never a bad idea. Read on.

The smirk that reeks confidence
That overt turn of hip
I know all your deepest secrets
Treasure sealed behind my lip

Demure is hardly my style
I know my divine decree
If there's devil to be bid
My eyes shall let you free

I see you look me up and down
I see you calculate
You are no match for me, mortal
This hunger, you can't satiate

Mischief beckons my parched heart
You see the glint in my eye
But you can't see how I can turn
The world in just one try

Just a twist, turn a tad
You heart will skip a beat
You'll see my smile grow ever wide
I'll win you easy and neat.
